2019 REGINA REGIONAL HERITAGE FAIR
As you know, a number of southern school divisions collaborate in hosting the RRHF. The RRHF, operating under Heritage Saskatchewan, is a multi-media education initiative designed to increase awareness and interest of Canadian heritage, culture, and history. This initiative targets Grades 4-8 and supports interdisciplinary inquiry.
This year’s RRHF is scheduled for Friday, May 10, 2019 and will be hosted at Campus Regina Public in Regina. That said, and on behalf of the RRHR, I am seeking and would like to invite you and/or others from your organization (please share with others as appropriate) to assist with judging student projects at the RRHF. Judges are asked to attend an orientation the morning of the fair (8:30-9:00) and judging students projects (9:00-12:00 or earlier) followed by judges lunch (12:00-12:30 or earlier if deliberations complete). Judges are welcome to attend the remainder of the day , but are not required to do so – see agenda below. So, if you would be able and willing judge student projects at the RRHF, and even if you indicated interest last spring, please let me know at your earliest convenience (306-523-3136 or juanita.redekopp@rbe.sk.ca ). Note that I am hoping to have judges in place by mid to late March.
I thank you in advance and appreciate your consideration of this invitation and I apologize to those of you who participated in this event as you will have received this invitation twice.
Take care ,
